On Saturday, March 5th, King Kenny defeated FaZe Temperrr by split decision. Many are calling it the biggest robbery in YouTube boxing history. Kenny, on the other hand, celebrated his win on the night. Since then, he has backtracked, refusing to claim victory over Temperrr.
Faze Temperr has appealed the boxing event decision:
officially started the appeal process today. keep u guys posted— FaZe Temperrr (@Temperrr) March 7, 2022
“This is a first for us, we have been in professional boxing, sanctioning events for over 20 years, licensing pro boxers such as David Haye and Derek Chisora. Events in small halls, mid level sized venues, and stadiums and never experienced such lack of security at an event of that size. Officials must have 100% attention on the bout and simply cannot when fans are putting arms around judges and taking photos, officials looking over their shoulders constantly as there is a wall of fans behind touching them. Then the surges — having to push back on fans trying to control, assaulted (hit in the back) It was utterly ridiculous and dangerous and in no way should be accepted. Which is why we have decided to rescore the bout out of that environment to give an honest and fair opinion.”– The Pro Boxing Association tells Happy Punch
After 3 days we have an update that professional boxing association ltd has reached a decision: Faze Temperrr winning unanimously.
Congrats to Temperr, we put on a hell of a show for the audience and was a great fight 🥊🙌🏾 https://t.co/aynRHrAWWj— Kenny (@KingKennyTv) March 10, 2022
Showstar reacts to the situation, apologizing for the lack of professionalism:
We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for the ringside mayhem during the event. Issues with the arena security & box office staff caused problems for our guests and officials. We will for sure fix these issues for our next event!— showstarboxing (@showstarboxing) March 10, 2022
